On 02.05.2026 we want to celebrate a cycling festival with you again.
Of course, we will once again be looking for the Porphyry Queen and the Porphyry King at our Everesting.
Again in 2026 with our team everesting!
8848 vertical meters in April are a real challenge, but the feeling afterwards makes up for all the exertion...

WE SUPPORT THE BERGEXPRESS
In spring, Bergradsport Brandis organizes the BergExpress as an XCO race, making it the opening race of the XCO Bike Cup. On the challenging MTB circuit, the U15 and upwards will tackle a challenging 4.2 kilometers with 190 metres of elevation gain.
PEACE RIDE RELOADED: EUROPEAN PEACE RIDE
From September 11 to 13, 2026, around 200 participants will ride around 500 kilometers from XXX to Chemnitz, covering around 6000 meters of altitude.

Fit4Bike is a young company that was founded in 2018 by Steffen Ulbrich and Kai Winkler, both active recreational athletes. The aim is to bring together different players in cycling and develop solutions as well as use existing structures to build a network of resources. We arrange contacts between advertising partners, race organizers and athletes and organize our own events, including the development of a nationwide infrastructure for recreational and professional sports.

You can really let off steam on the official Porphyrking time trial course and have 2 weeks to burn your best time into the asphalt.
The challenge starts on 01.05. and ends on 16.05.

FIT4BIKE AND THE CHEMNITZ 2025 IDEA
Kai Winkler had the idea of handing in the second bid book for the Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 - called the Bid Book - by bike in Berlin. On Friday, September 18, 2020 at 2 p.m., 39 recreational athletes set off for the capital by bike. But before the athletes arrived in Berlin, they were faced with various stages with a total of 25 cities to cycle through.
The 39 cyclists had to cover around 1,200 km within two days. The number of cyclists represents the 39 districts of Chemnitz.
