Location: Rabenstein Forest (reservoir entrance)

procedure

  • 10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. – Technical training in the morning
    • Bike setup & position
    • Braking and cornering technique
    • Starting on hills, minor obstacles, roots
    • Tips on safety and efficient driving
  • 12:30–1:00 p.m. – Lunch break
    • snack bar
    • Fitness drink & energy bar included
    • Time for networking and questions for the trainer
  • From around 1:00 p.m. – Test drive & joint training session
    • Short test drive to try out what you have learned right away
    • Followed by a joint training ride in the Rabenstein Forest
    • Finally, a little challenge (e.g., technical course or short segment challenge with a fun factor, no racing stress)

Additional information about Roy Bruns (for your text/website)

Trainer: Roy Bruns – born in 1988, mountain bike athlete from Saxony (TREK Factory Racing), multiple winner of the 24-hour MTB race Heavy24 at the Oberrabenstein reservoir near Chemnitz. At Heavy24, he completed 58 laps or around 555 km as a solo rider with virtually no breaks, defending his title as "King of Heavy24." In 2022, he was the official German runner-up in eMTB and took part in the UCI World Champion Chips in Les Gets (France).

  • Races for Diamond / TREK Factory Racing and was part of the M-Wave Pro Team in the MTB sector.
  • Regularly participates in marathon and cup races in the MTB sector, including the Cube Cup and bike marathons. Since 2024, also active in the downhill and enduro scene.
  • Also active in trail running/mountain running (including Chianti Ultra Trail by UTMB with a top 10 finish).

In addition to numerous marathon and cup races, he is also successful in trail running—perfect conditions for passing on his expertise in technology, endurance, and riding strategy to you.
