A condition of participation is that the participant agrees to bear any risks to their person and property arising from the joint tour and not to make any claims against persons, institutions, or companies that are organizing or have organized the joint tour.
CSM Chemnitzer Sportförderungs- und Marketinggesellschaft mbH is not liable for damage or loss suffered by participants while traveling on the recommended route, practicing the sport, using facilities and equipment, or during any other activity related to the bike tour, insofar as such damage or loss is not covered by existing insurance policies.
Provided that the organizers and helpers, as well as their legal representatives and vicarious agents, are not at fault, claims by participants for damages resulting from injury to life, limb, and health, as well as for property damage and financial loss, are excluded.
Organizers and helpers, as well as their legal representatives and vicarious agents, are only liable in cases of intentional or grossly negligent behavior. Slightly negligent behavior only gives rise to liability for damages resulting from injury to life, limb, or health, as well as damages resulting from the breach of essential contractual obligations.
By signing the disclaimer, each participant declares that they have read and accepted the above points and the following rules, regulations, and conditions, that they are adequately insured against accidents, and that they are participating at their own risk.
> The StVO (German Road Traffic Regulations) must always be observed and complied with.
> All participants ride at their own risk.
> CSM Chemnitzer Sportförderungs- und Marketinggesellschaft mbH accepts no liability for damage incurred by participants during the tour (as described in detail above).
> I am responsible for my own riding style, have been informed of the risks of the tour, and consider myself capable of managing them.
> I undertake to follow the instructions of those responsible.
> Each participant is responsible for themselves and rides at their own risk.
> Tour guides are entitled to exclude riders whose bikes do not comply with the provisions of the Road Traffic Licensing Regulations from the tour.
> The instructions of the respective tour guide must be followed.
> In the event of breakdowns or other interruptions to the ride, the tour guide must be informed immediately.
> The same applies if someone wishes to leave the group.
> Consideration must be given to pedestrians and other cyclists.
> Helmets must be worn.
> The current EPR clothing for the respective year must be worn without exception; this also applies to helmets and other items of clothing.
> The app required for communication must be installed on all participants' smartphones.
Data processing / photos, film, and sound
Each participant irrevocably consents to the organizer and its vicarious agents, as well as to all sponsors, to use, distribute, and publish image material, film recordings, and interviews in radio, print media, and books for event-related advertising purposes without any claim to remuneration, without limitation in terms of content or time.
